NY Rangers Have MVP Goalie in Pile of Snow

After amassing a 3-0 hole in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, the New York Rangers defeated the Los Angeles Kings for the first time in the series with a 2-1 win in Game 4.

In the event that the Rangers pull off a stunning comeback and win the next three games, you can be sure who will be receiving MVP honors: a pile of snow.

The pile of snow in question was the pile of ice shavings that kept a shot by Kings defenseman Alec Martinez from crossing the goal line after slipping between the legs of the former starting goalie for the Rangers, Henrik Lundqvist. Using sheer will and kinetic science, the pile of snow stuff the Kings’ efforts to tie the game.

There is no word yet if the pile of snow will indeed start Game 5 in place of Lundqvist.
