LeBron James to Make “The Decision”… Again

The NBA Finals are over…again… and there is one man in every conversation about team rosters… again.

That’s right, LeBron James has opted out of his contract with the Miami Heat in order to test the waters of free agency… again… and make “The Decision” about where he will go… again. The only thing missing is ESPN airing over an hour long special hyping what amounted to about a 20 second sound bite of LeBron James stating the team he will be signing with. At this stage of his career, “The Second Decision” would probably be a two day television event. Maybe even a mini-series.

The Miami Heat star and four-time league MVP has decided to enact his contract’s early termination clause, meaning he’ll be a free agent July 1. This means that the 29 year-old NBA superstar, who has gone to four NBA championships with the Miami Heat and helped win two, could make an unprecedented move by leaving the team he has had so much recent success with.

He may stay with the Miami Heat, or extend his mercenary services to a franchise like the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks, or the Cleveland Cavaliers. Yes, the Cavs. Again…

All we know is that the hype has begun. Hold onto your basketball shorts.
